Valpolicella is a renowned wine-growing region north of Verona: twenty-five kilometers of rolling hills stretching from east to west, and twelve from north to south, nestled between the Lessini Mountains and the plains, among enchanting valleys that gently descend toward the lowlands. In its easternmost corner, Illasi reveals a unique mosaic of vineyards caressed by constant breezes. Here, nature achieves a rare balance: limestone and clay soils preserve the strength of the earth and return it in rich, intense, vibrant grapes. A precious microclimate — a continuous breath accompanying the ripening of the vines, transforming every wine into a story of elegance, depth, and terroir.
Illasi is an authentic land, shaped by small family-run wineries like ours, where caring for wine is almost an act of love. Walking through its vineyards means feeling the true heart of Valpolicella: a simple and genuine territory capable of producing wines of depth and emotion. Here we cultivate the two expressions of our soul, distilled into a tiny production of 7,000 bottles of Valpolicella Superiore and only 3,000 bottles of Amarone.
Wines that embody a strong work ethic, the authenticity of their origins, and respect for time. Every grape cluster in the vineyard is selected with meticulous care, every step in the cellar is carried out with absolute precision, every process is overseen down to the smallest detail. It is not about pursuing a style, but about allowing the truth of the land and the story from which everything begins to emerge naturally. And if there is one legacy that matters above all others, it is the one built alongside our father, Romano: a method shaped by consistency, meticulous attention, and awareness, where the land always remains the starting point. Teachings that do not remain mere theory, but become daily practice — a tangible heritage that continues to guide every one of our choices.
